Ryder Cup 2016 will be taking place in Chaska, Minnesota

The Ryder Cup is returning but not in the UK, in 2016 the challenging tournament will be taking place in Chaska, Minnesota at the ultra-supreme Hazeltine National Golf course, this gold course is said to be one of the most challenging golf courses around, with forestry set around the course and water hazards blocking the holes. 2016 will be a tricky course to play on for the pro golfers.

This year’s Ryder Cup was held in Scotland, and most certainly attracted many different visitors from all over the UK, the Ryder Cup is definitely not a boring golf tournament as you never know what is going to happen.

This year there are many favourites to win, Ryder Cup captain Tom Watson says that Tiger Woods will be on the U.S team if he’s healthy and playing well, along with former world No.1 Westwood who has played in ever Ryder Cup since his debut in 1997, and McDowell who has featured in the last three contests.
