Bubba Watson Wins Green Jacket for the Second Time

The 78th Masters was won by Bubba Watson for the second time by holding off Jordan Spieth and Jonas Blixt. The American left-hander 35 finally won his second green jacket, winning against the two fantastic Jordan Spieth and Jonas Blixt.

As the youngest player Spieth was hoping to beat Tiger woods however all his hopes has sunk in the water of Amen corner and he carded 72 to end five under, however Watson pulled through and became the 17th player to win two master titles, eight of whom have gone on to three or more green jackets.

Watson said “This one is a lot different. The first one I kind of lucked into it. But this is a lot of hard work. After giving it back I wanted to get it back again”.

Watson and Spieth started the final round as co-leaders at 5-under. Spieth charged into a two stroke lead on the third hole before Watson started a decisive and convincing comeback, After a tense couple of holes Watson and Spieth marched up to the 10th fairway to begin the second nine at Augusta National, famous for its twist and turns, Watson edged into a three-shot lead with a birdie on the par-five 13th and parred his way home for victory.

“His drive on 13, I’ll never forget” Spieth said. “I thought it was out of bounds 70 yards left, and it was perfect, He knew that, too” Spieth was definitely a challenge for Watson and both players played extremely well as it was such a close game towards the end “It’s definitely mixed emotions” Spieth went on to say “it was very close on the back nine. I hit a lot of putts where I wanted to but they didn’t go in. To play this courser all week without worse than a bogey is something to be proud of”

We hope to see more of Bubba Watson and wish him luck to win his third green jacket in the 2015 US Masters.
